Lito, Killa Cole and Westy have been best picks since McNabb.

A lot of picks have worked out since then, just not a lot of first rounders.

We need to draft solely in the 5th round.

Killa Cole.
Omar Gaither (maybe).
Brent Celek looks pretty good so far.
I have hopes for Gaddis.
We're certainly batting better there than the 1st round, in any event.  And they're cheap.  Banner loves cheap.
Anyone but Reid.

You and Larry Craig can suck my pole.

And, of course, it's they.  farg off.
Anyone but Reid.

Herremans what? He was a great pick, and could wind up being a starting tackle, but as it is right now, he's a great guard, he just gets overshadowed by the other excellent guys on the line.

I think this season will prove they made a good pick with Avant, he looks great so far in the preseason.

I think in terms of busthood, McDougle >>> Freddie.

The thing is that the McDougle pick was very much a need pick, and other DE's from that draft (like Michael Haynes) have also busted out.  The Freddie pick was much worse in comparison to the other guys still on the board at WR (Reggie Wayne, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, etc).

... Chris Chambers...

Damn... that still hurts every time I see that.

Totally agree, btw.

rumor is that Kearse may be cut, its just speculation since his knee is still giving him problems.  I'd rather put him on the PUP, then see how he is 6 weeks from now, then cut him if he's still hurting

I think since he's played in games, and practiced, it's IR or nothing.

Kearse getting cut would make me mildly happy. Never liked him much as an Eagle.  On the flip, it doesn't leave them with a great set of DE's, outside of Killa, who has yet to demonstrate he can do it all season.
