Robert Shaw as Quint in "Jaws".

Outstanding addition.

-- Sam Jackson as Jules Winfield in Pulp Fiction.  Special shoutout to Harvey Keitel as The Wolf as well.

-- rjs tapped Billy in Predator... but I've got to give the nod to Jesse Ventura as Blaine.  "I ain't got time to bleed" may be the best line ever.

-- Alan Rickman as Hans Gruber in Die-Hard.  Maybe the best villan ever in an action movie.

- I laid off of Samuel L because it seemed too obvious, but he deserves mention.

- Billy edged out Blaine for me because he's less clownish, but yeah Ventura rules in Predator.

- Good call on Rickman.

I also liked Rutger Hauer as Wolfgar in "Nighthawks."

I think we all can agree that Val Kilmer in Tombstone is one of the all time best movie performances. 

Also Daniel Day-Lewis as William Cutting in Gangs of New York.
