I asked Spadaro if he could have one of his cameramen record the practices from a higher vantage point.  I suggested maybe the grandstand so we could get a better view of the plays on the field.

He said that he already tried to get permission but that the grandstands were off-limits.

WTF?

:paranoid

Because the good view it gives us also gives teams who actually do scout raw practice footage a good vantage point too.

Yeah, the first week of preseason practices completely overrides two mediocre seasons of actual NFL games...

I did that just for you, by the way.

And his 1-2 years were good considering he was a rookie on a shtein ass team and then he improved last year. And the fact that he's an Eagle who was drafted by the Eagles and is showing progress is reason to get some optimism going.

1200 yds this year.

I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

78-1201-15 TDs!

He beats TO by one in every category.

Okay, I'm calm. I think. Maybe not.

Whats your thoughts on the GOAT Rashad Barksdale, mr. igy?

ice grillin you

he farging sucks

hes a downer if ive ever seen a player at a camp

always shrugging his shoulders and walking away after plays...i seen him ignore a coach three different times this weekend...if youre a 6th round pick you should be blowing every single person thats even remotely affiliated with the eagles...that includes towel boys...bird nest camera men....ball boys...rory segrest...the dood in the merchandise tent and the guy in the bleachers cheering kevins curtis' route running

i hate myself for saying this but he does none of it

hes a first cut

Practice squadder. He's raw as hell, so I want to see how he develops. Or maybe they stash him as an inactive.

I want to see whats up with CJ Gaddis though. Because if him, Rashad and Ilaoa don't pan out, thats three wasted picks.

Marcus Paschal or Erick Harris are going to push Gaddis as that 4th S.

ice grillin you

im pretty sure i didnt see gaddis once this weekend...amd yes he was out there

The early word on him, pre-hitting sessions, was that his head was lost in the playbook. So he's slow at picking up the defense.

I read that Tony Hunt killed Big Mouf Will James today on the goal...that James' helmet took off rolling down the field without his head in it.

but wait isnt gaddis dawkins version 2.0?

Think it might be early to lay the smackdown on Gaddis. Coming from a vanilla defense to here has gotta be info overload. Safeties are asked to do a lot in J.J's defense. Jury's still out.
