meh, the dogs i had growing up & the 11yr old lab/sheppard mix i have now all ate run of the mill dog food and never had any issues because of what they ate.
If guns kill people then spoons made Rosie O'Donnel a fatass.

It's not that Ol' Roy or Purina or whatever is bad for your dog......just not overly nutritious for them.  They put a lot of wheat and grain in their foods and that stuff just isn't park of a dog's natural diet.

the last thing otis needs is more nutrition which will turn into more energy. in fact i think i am going to start slipping him some benadryl.  :paranoid

It's not that Ol' Roy or Purina or whatever is bad for your dog......just not overly nutritious for them.  They put a lot of wheat and grain in their foods and that stuff just isn't park of a dog's natural diet. 

I am thinking wheat and grains are not part of a dogs natural diet because they aren't quite sure they know how to harvest it.

That and dogs have been domesticated for so long that chips ahoy are now considered to be part of a dogs natural diet.

Just found out at 4.5 years old, our golden Chase has lymphoma.  farg this shtein

yeah.  The one and same.  We found four swollen lymph nodes on him the other night, took him to see the vet this morning.  95% chance its Lymphoma, just waiting on the pathology.  Chase isnt showing any symptoms, but he's in the early stages.  This will be my 3rd golden out of 3 to get cancer, though i thought 7 year old was too young in our first dog.  4.5 aint right
