According to Jay Glazer, Gappy is staying retired. He's got a bunch of direct quotes from Strahan, so it seems legit.

I have to believe if the Giants offered him enough money, he'd come back. How much that would be, I don't know. Maybe 10 mil. if the Giants think they need him that bad.
