23. Anchor Steam. Mmmmm, Anchor Steam.

I tried to order this while I was in the Bay Area a few weeks ago, and the bar said they took it off tap because everyone hated it.

Were you being facetious with your "Mmmmm", or is it actually a decent beer?

4th of July update:

40. Boulevard Stout.
41. Widmer Bros. Hefeweizen - It was OK, but a little too citrusy for me.
43. Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat - a good wheat beer. But, I'm partial to wheat beers.
44. Leinenkugel Honey Weiss
45. Leinenkugel Red
46. Leinenkugel Berry Weiss - Not a berry beer fan.  But it was in the Leiney Sampler pack, so I drank it.

I had a Stella last night from the bottle.  Meh.  It reminds me of Heineken, which is a poor man's Grolsch, IMO.

Grolsch >>> Stella > Heineken

I took the family out to New Hope for the 4th & stopped at the Triumph Brewing Co. on the way back. Their IPA was pretty good, but their Bengal Gold IPA made me nice & fuzzy for the holiday. I give it 4 stars. We also stopped at the Logan Inn to get out of the rain & I had a Chimay, while pricey, it was a nice combo of hops & what tasted like cloves. 5 Stars.. :yay

Neighbor's party last night, and he stocked up on some SA, so my list grew:

47. Sam Adams Light
48. Sam Adams Boston Lagar
49. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat
50. Sam Adams Hefeweizen - being a wheat fan, I was disappointed in this one.
51. Sam Adams Summer Ale
52. Sam Adams Pale Ale

53. Schlafly's Ryebier - Based with rye, and blander than I had hoped.
54. Schalfly's Dortmunder. Nice taste.  Not strong, but good body.
55. Schlafly's #15. A special beer to commemorate Schlafly's 15th anniversary.  A wheat based beer, with a slight fruit finish.  It was OK, but I bought the T-Shirt anyway, because a) I like Schlafly's, and 2) I was on a Three-beer lunch buzz.

29. Miller High Life Lite. Hahahahaahahahaha. It literally tastes like nothing. Slightly carbonated water. Far less offensive than I expected and basically a replica of Miller Lite. Will buy it if I see it and it costs less than Lite.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Bud Select 24-packs have been on sale for $11.88 at Harris Teeter the last few weeks.

Moneylover that I am, I've been taking full advantage of this incredible deal.

Michelob Lager this evening. It is what it is and I liked.

56. Red Stripe Lager - not very pleased with this beer.
57. Sam Adam's Honey Porter - Very tasty. I like this beer.
58. Sam Adam's Black Lager - OK.  Not bad.
59. Kirin Ichiban - Not my favorite Japanese beer. I remember drinking Orion in Okinawa, which still ranks as one of my favorite all time beers.  I wish I could have anouther.
60. 312 Urban Wheat (Goose Island Brewery) - I liked this.  Wish it was a little more strong in taste, but overall I liked this as well.

60 beers in 43 days - I'm ahead of the curve.  Sweet.
