Why is Stephen A. Smith making himself look like a jackass?  His angry brotha/Jesse Jackson act is beyond ridiculous.

You mean... he's acting like he always acts?

Well at least he was in the National Honors Society in high school according to Tirico.

I guess Young is alright. Could have went Thornton or Wright.

Hope 21 is Williams and 30 is Davis

BigEd76

eh

Could be MoPete in a few years.  Doesn't really solve our PF hole though....

I'm fine with it. No big men should be picked there, and he easily has the most potential.

reese125

the most potential for what?

Sixers are 25th in rebounding, have nobody that attacks the glass, and not one person aside from Iggy that can get by a defender on the offensive side (and hes iffy). Thornton was the pick for them (with the most potential), and once again they blow it

I called this pick a while ago.  Reese, thornton has no potential, he's 24.  If Thad Young was 24 he could have averaged 19 and 7 too against a bunch of teenagers.

Yeah dude. 24 is so old. I hate how everyone that has "potential" either needs to be an underclassmen or a high school player. Please. He's got plenty of potential.

Reese, Young has more potential than Thornton. They're each on the elite level for athleticism. Young has a better handle, and seems to be a better shooter. He doesn't foul as much as Thornton does. Young could probably play PF in small sets (like Thornton) because he has some decent post moves. Young is a personal favorite of mine, but I don't see how you could say either one was definitely a better pick.

Philadelphia is up again.

reese125

a better pick purely for the fact that the Sixers NEED glass help in the worst way, not another outside shooter that cant get by anyone...thats all

So the 76ers draft Daequan Cook and then trade him to Miami for Jason Smith. Meh.

I'm happy with whitey at 21, even though I really wanted Crittenton or Williams at that spot.

Petteri Koponen from Finland...ummm...who? I thought I was watching the NHL draft.

Should have went with Davis or McRoberts.

Obviously you've never seen Al Thornton play.  Not surprising.

King screwed the pooch in the entire first round.  The last pick was el-oh-el funny.
