I just want a PF and a scorer out of this draft.  Horford is guy they need but it probably won't happen.  B.Wright, Green, Yi, Brewer or Conley would be OK.  Later in the 1st, I'd be OK with Law, Williams or Almond...

i never heard much of Stuckey until yesterday when Legler was on with Gargano and they both loved him for the Sixers.

hes been rising for a few months now...theres lots of videos around on him if you wanna peep

if we don't trade, i want al thornton at 12, crittendon at 21 (probably won't be there), and big baby at 30.

i'd also be ok with getting another big guy at 21 (fazekas or sean williams) and snagging taurean green with 30.

Fazekas at 21 and Green at 30 would make me not watch one Sixers game until both of them are gone. Fazekas will be there in the 2nd round, and Green sucks ass. Against any decent defense he's a turnover machine.

Jesus christ, I just checked and Green averaged 5 three point attempts last year per game and 6 the year before. Gunner much? Not to mention being packed with a talented team and not even averaging over 4 assists a game.

I believe I read in the DN that Stuckey refused to come in for an interview and workout with the Sixers...

My two scenarios:

If they trade up: The dream is to get high enough to get Horford without giving up Igoudala in a trade. If Horford somehow slips past ATL, they need to get up and get him. However that is extremely unlikely so I would like to see B. Wright or Jeff Green.

If they stay at 12: If they stay here and keep 21, 30 and 38 I want Al Thornton at 12, Sean Williams at 21 and Big Baby at 30 (or Aaron Afflalo)...and the ever so popular BPA at 38.

i'm not a huge fazekas fan, but he will most definitely not be around in the second round.  if i had to pick between him or sean williams i go with fazekas, because willaims is a bitch.

Go Sixers!

I've officially switched allegiances from the Magic back to the Sixers.  If you don't like it you can cram it up your vaginers.

Dillen

I'd take Williams over him because if you timed him running the entire court, you'd be able to measure it in seconds, not minutes. Fazekas is deathly slow. The Sixers aren't a half court team (as of now) and Fazekas will look like a joke. He can't defend either. Williams' shot blocking is on the elite level. It's not even a question for me really.

Rome

Cap-wise can the Sixers afford three #1 draft choices as all three would garner guaranteed contracts?

again im preyy sure they cant take three american college players in round one...the contracts wont work out...its one of the reasons they are so inclined to trade...if they end up keeping all three picks then 30 or much less likely 21 will be a euro who will come over in a year or two

crazyness...williams could be a bust because of his off the court stuff but his on the court upside is huge....theres a question with fazejus as to whether he can even play in the league at all....with the 12 you dont take a possible problem child but with 21 and having four picks in the draft youre in an ideal spot to take a chance on a guy like sw

They're over the cap even if they only picked at #30, so it doesn't matter.  At least they're below the luxury tax level...

Rome

Thanks, Ed.  I thought they were in trouble cap-wise in terms of paying a luxury tax.  That's why I figured we'd see a trade tonight more than anything.

good point i wasn't really thinking about that.  in that case i change my picks to thornton at 12, maybe rudy fernandez the PG from spain at 21, so he can play after andre is gone, then big baby at 30.

its not a straight cap issue...if they can at all avoid it they do not want to take on three first round contracts...another possibility is that they move back from the 30 spot into the non guaranteed contract second round
