My gut tells me King is going to trade up
My gut tells me that whoever they trade up for will SUCK

Its one of the deepest drafts in history.  As long as Billy and Dileo do their homework, we should be able to get a stud.  I'm not a fan of having 4 picks though, so hopefully we package some to move up in the draft and get a better pick.  Maybe 21+30 to get a pick in the teens???

i kinda have this feeling as well

i think the drafts depth is overrated..i think a basketball writer woke up one day about eight months ago and thought that with the one  year college rule it would be a good story to say this is the deepest draft in one million years...im sorry im no expert but i dont see it...it looks like every other draft ive ever seen

thus i say trade all your picks to move up from 12 if you can get your man

Exactly.  NBA drafts are notoriously NOT deep.  If you get the one good player you covet, you're in good shape.

Trading ALL of your picks for someone other than the top 2 is stupid. If the player busts, you're farged. Obviously if you get Brandan Wright or Al Horford, they aren't likely to bust, but then the team still has no depth whatsoever. I'm fine with trading the 30th pick and the 2nd rounder, although I'd rather trade the 30th because you have nothing to lose with the 2nd rounder.

Consider it this way: You trade all of your picks to move up, this is basically what you are doing.

Allen Iverson, 1st rounder, 2nd rounder for draft pick, Andre Miller

Awful deal. Absolutely awful.

Considering they have 4 picks this year, would anyone be interested in a 76ers mock contest similar to the Eagles one? Wouldn't exactly be hard to pull off, just naming 4 players.

21 isnt worth much
30 is actually a pick people dont want cause of its money issues
and 2nd rounders are a joke

whichs why they wont be able to trade up as everything but 12 carries little weight...but if you can find a sucker to package all the picks to move up then you do it

id rather move up and get a horford or conley....or even a brewer...than have thaddeus young and marc gasol or something like that

The only reason I hate the idea is that if the player busts, you are absolutely farged. As far as I'm concerned, I don't feel there is anyone to trade up for out of the top 4, Oden, Durant, Wright and Horford. I know Conley is a very good prospect, but I'd rather have Crittenton - Splitter - Hardin or something like that rather than just Conley. Outside of the top 4, you can find those type of players in almost any draft, and I don't think giving up 3 picks for a guy you can find next year is very smart.

you really would only be giving up one pick...no one wants the 30 and the second rounder is virtually worthless...i wouldnt do it just to do it but if a guy they really like is there then you go for it....

i read a rumor somewhere that Portland is offering Randolph and Jack to Atlanta for the #3 so they can take Conley to play with Oden...
