If Spikes follows Peterson's healing ways, then Spikes is a better player than Peterson. We'll have a top 10 LB on our hands.

I hope so badly he gets back to form. This defense could actually be good for a change.

Am I the only one who's having a hard time getting fired up about this? I like the dude and think that he's a good addition, but all this talk of boners and whatnot just isn't happening for me.

If he gets back to pre-injury form like Peterson did then he is a top 10 LB in the NFL. There definitely is something to be excited about. He instantly becomes the best LB we have. Immediate playmaker and impact player.

If you are skeptical that is all well and good, but we actually have promise at the spot for the first time in a long time.

Did you watch the press conference? I think he'd put the pads on today and start bashing skulls in. That doode fired me up for the season, rjs. I can't wait to see him wreak havoc out there.
