lol @ tomorrow

At this point, there is no doubt in my mind that the Mets win and the Phils lose tomorrow.  I'm trying to steel myself to that fact now.

were we separated at birth?

Don,

I think we're about the same age (late 30s), and have been watching this team for a long time.  Save that one magic season of 1980, the history of the Philadelphia Phillies is one of heartache and misery.

We can see the writing on the wall, because we've seen it many a time before.

Tony Gwynn Jr. just farged over the Padres in the bottom of the ninth. :-D

If you're ever looking for an excellent example of irony, that would be it.

Atleast fans your age have actually seen a championship.  I was born in 1985, I have seen nothing but disappointment.. it's all i know, and hey.. I'm still optimistic.

I've got a chuch function at my pastor's home in the afternoon.  I know he has the MLB.TV package, so I'll be dominating his computer.

I hope that my church brethren can handle all the swearing.

i don't put this one on eaton.  that farging seventh inning brain fart by choke dog and ruiz was killer.  nice of the "MVP" to show up.  if i see him swing at one more first pitch tomorrow you will all hear the expletives flying over the pacific.
