lol @ tomorrow

At this point, there is no doubt in my mind that the Mets win and the Phils lose tomorrow.  I'm trying to steel myself to that fact now.

Just wait.. Howard's going to keep hope alive.

He can start by fielding his farging position like a major leaguer for once. His atrocious defense cost them today. Him and Ruiz making like they're on Chico's farging Bail Bonds.

I told you so.

Good guess, but keep hope alive?  All it does is make that 7th inning defensive blowup all the more painful.

It's not over yet.  Worth and Dobbs will get on base, and Ruiz or the pinch hitter will hit a walk off, 3 run shot.

QB Eagles

Tony Gwynn Jr. just farged over the Padres in the bottom of the ninth. :-D

Brewers tied the Padres at 3 on a game-tying, 2-out triple by... Tony Gwynn, Jr.

Milkwaukee just tied things up.  If the Mets and Phils win, and the Padres lose, what exactly happens??

My original understanding is that, if one or the other would be out of the playoffs, they would play one game to decide who's in.

But, ESPN radio was declaring the Padres in the playoffs this morning, so I could be wrong.

Where's BigEd when we need him?

Well, Fox said that only the Cubs and Diamondbacks have clinched.  I have no clue.

Padres have 89 wins.  If they lose then they haven't clinched anything since the Phils could still win 89 if they don't win today.  So I don't think the Padres have anything locked up.
