I would like to disagree... but I can't.

Splitting the series would be a moral victory for the Phils.  They have a better rotation on the DL than they do on the field right now.

i was banking on the phils winning both coles starts on the homestand then stealing another game or two...but without king its looking grim at best...dont know if they will win but they should be in every game with sd cause the padres have no offense...the mets on the other hand are loaded as we all know and are playing well right now

It was pretty blatant what chooch did, sarge is pulling his homer card which is hard to do with Wheels in the booth.

actually i thought he cleeted him at first...it was actually a borderline call but i can see why they made it...ruiz didnt even really attempt to slide and kind of kicked his one foot straight into giles leg

but sarge is correct in that you gotta make the call from jump start...you cant wait for the benches to clear giles bitch and then make the call

the rule is silly. that run wouldve scored regardless of the ruiz's slide. anyway, al golden is in the booth and wheels just asked him how important recruiting is.
