yea it was a silly play, but he was almost in there. great throw by lee.

rowand ties it, black adam dunn rules.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

To give Howard credit, that was a tough play to judge. And he hesitated so he probably should have just stayed at 2nd but he committed and his slowness kept him from getting to 3rd.

I'm surprised Rowand deposited that pitch in the seats considering he had to reach down for it. His shoulder must be fine.

ice grillin you

cant believe those clown cub fans cheered hill off the mound
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

Eaglez

Wow. Lou has no confidence in Hill getting a 44 year old pitcher out to end the inning.

Eaglez

Moyer definitely knows how to pitch in situations. He gives up a lead-off double but then gets 2 Ks and a flyball. That last pitch for his second K showed off how smooth he is; he was pretty much staring down DeRosa at 2nd while he delivered the ball to the plate. He has a lot of confidence in his placement.

Sarge has been a good addition to the commentating booth.

Don Ho

yeah, i wish Sarge was still in the cubs booth so i wouldn't have to listen to these two clowns.

terrible throw by howard.  soriano still may have been safe but it would have been a lot closer with a better throw.

JC Romero gets 2 outs, walks the bases loaded, then gets DeRosa. Ugh.

I haven't seen much of the game, but the home plate umpire's been squeezing both Romero and the Cubs pitchers off the sides of the plate.  They're getting nothing.

And then he just called strike one on Ruiz that was at his shoe tops.  There was one to a Cub batter like that, too.

Horrible umpiring.
