So, what's the over/under for Tom Godorn appearances before his arm falls off and actually goes under the knife?

Also, did anyone else not realize how close Utley is to leading the league in hitting?  He's at .340 as we speak.  Chipper Jones is at .346.

Did Victorino pop a hammy?

Never mind.  He looks fine.  8)

Manuel needs to give Bourn the Willie Mays Hays rule.  Every time he hits the ball in the air, I want to see him on the ground doing 10 pushups.

Nice to see the Phils putting their feet on the throats of the Padres.

BTW, is Peavy starting tomorrow?

well, we've got a few that run like Tom Berringer's character - Barajas, Helms, Burrell.

San Diego and Los Angeles seem to be a havens for East Coasters. Whenever the NY, Boston and Philly teams play out there, it's usually plenty full of their fans. Good times.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

very true.  i recall the birds playing out there about 15 years ago and the place was packed with eagles fans.

It sounds like there's a ton of Phillies fans in the stadium.   The Eagles chants are hilarious, though.

:-D I don't know.  Manuel sent Condrey out to pitch the ninth.  He must want to give the Padres a fighting chance.
