A Bourn/Werth platoon might work. I hope that Rollins bats 6th, too. He's much better suited for that than Victorino, but Jimmy has a tad of an ego issue and he would sulk little a little vagina if he get demoted in the lineup.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Bourn is fine against righties if he keeps walking, but that has been a problem in the past so we will see.

Werth is average against lefties and is hands down one of the worst outfielders I have ever seen.   He misjudges tons of balls, is slow, and makes up for all of that by having a weeny arm.   Burrell will come around against lefties eventually.

Burrell will come around against lefties eventually.

you mean like hit above .200 against them?

UKNOWWAT

"Strikeout rate" seems to make the most sense there.  Certainly not VORP.

Burrell should be killing lefties.

He should also be a .290 hitter with 30+ homers, 110+ rbi's , 100+ walks, and preferably less than 150 K's every single year.

He hasn't produced those numbers consistently even though he's being paid to every year.

He hasn't produced those numbers consistently twice in seven years, even though he's being paid to every like he has every year.

Burrel sucks. Period.

Werth vs. LHP: .273/.353/.785, 2 HR, 6 BI, 6 BB
Burrell vs. LHP: .155/.315/.752, 3 HR, 12 BI, 16 BB

Defense:
Werth: 44 total chances vs. 38 put outs (24/22 in LF), 6 assists (4 in RF), 0 errors, 2.50 Range Factor, .923 Zone Rating
Burrell: 83 total chances vs. 74 put outs, 5 assists, 4 errors, 1.61 Range Factor, .910 Zone Rating

Werth is faster, too. Burrell is slower than my 80 year old grandmother.

Burrell has an okay arm and can normally get to anything in his range, but at this point, his range is reduced to the three inches in front of his feet.

Jamie Moyer just threw the ball harder to first base than he did to any batter I've seen him pitch to this year
