Being a Philadelphia sports fan is going to kill me.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I cannot begin to describe how cold it was there. I swear that it was colder than any Eagles game I have ever been to. Mike, I was all the way up in 316 and we stayed for every damn pitch of that abortion. I was numb by the time Ruiz ended that little rally by popping out.

After we left McFaddens around the 6th we walked down to row 2 of section 113. The Staff didn't give two shteins since it was so cold and nobody was down there anyways. We were right next to the guy with the black shirt that ran on the field to retrieve a ball and was ejected. We stayed the entire time too cause our ride didn't want to leave. We got even better news when we got to the parking lot, the car we came down in had a flat with a spare and a jack but nothing to take the lugs off with. AAA was there in under 5 minutes...no shtein.

Ha! I had just finished telling my boy what happens to people who run onto the field and then that guy went out there. I was disappointed that he didn't stay out there and end up catching a beat down from the cops. It was funny to watch the CBP employee rip the ball from his hands though. I would like to see someone run out to LF and just berate Pat Burrell...scream at him and tell him how much he sucks.

This team in infuriating.

But, but, but... Pat's OPS is like 1.037 right now!  How can you say he sucks!?

MDS

Protection is a myth. Average with RISP is luck. Bla bla VORP.

Burrell's the last person I'd blame for the 3 losses, I hope the rest of the team feels the heat now that he's not the scapegoat for a pathetic offensive performance.

Jay, we all boo'd the security guy, there were like 200 people in the stadium and they're tossing a fan. They should have given him free tickets after that game.

He also has five strikeouts and has been his usual gold glove self in the outfield.

I agree there's plenty of blame to go around, but his gaudy statistics after three games are misleading as hell and the boneheads that are using them to argue that he's actually played well the first three games are wrong.

what happend to that douchebag anyway?

The guy who got tossed? The security guy snagged the ball from his hand and escorted him out of the stadium.

I'm the last person to stick up for Burrell but he's far from the problem, if he can hit somewhat like this all season I won't complain.

Strikeouts in a situation where there are men on base isn't a problem?

Beane's response:

QuoteNope.
