Apparently the navy yard factory makes 'em quick but doesn't make 'em right. They have to throw away more product, and sales are down too.

I think there will always be Tastykakes (at least in any world I want to live in), but Tastykake as an independent company is not long for this world.

I actually don't remember the last time i ate anything by tastykake. I noticed in our cafeteria that the three pack cupcakes, or krimpets et al are over $1.50 a pack? eff'that, I won't miss them.

yeah lol at thinking tastykake is pricing them in that machine

two boxes for 4 bucks at my local supermarket...sun is right tho the quality has gone way down in the last few years

They are. Check the price stamp (not sticker) on the cellophane on any individually packaged retail tastykake.

the price stamp can be anything the retailer wants it to say...tastykake will run batches for cafeteria and places like that then run another batch for wawas for example

and you just said you cant remember the last time you had a tastykake and that you just noticed that it was 1.50 in your cafeteria...yet now 10 minutes later you know what they retail for all over the country?
