Voltaco's in Ocean City is probably one of the best hoagies I've ever eaten. Used to be a family tradition. In the summer you have order them 45-60 minutes ahead of time. So worth it. Their dinners are also off the charts fantastic.

Living in the farging armpit of Fredericksburg, I only get a decent hoagie when I travel back home to Philly. Living this far from there really drives home how excellent the local mom and pop food faire is up there, everything from pizzas to hoagies to steaks. So farging hungry now.

I ate at Voltaco's a couple of summers ago on vacation.  Still as good as it was 25 years ago.

Not yet, didn't really know it was there (don't get to Bonita much, though I drive through it almost every day on I-75).  Next time we're up that way I'll give it a go.  Has to beat Quiznos and Subway.

There is a place in Ft. Myers called Jersey Mike's (I think it's a chain) that claims to have Jersey Shore food.  It was alright, but I've had better.

Another place in Ft. Myers is called Philly Junction.  It's a mom-and-pop place that serves decent hoagies.  They import their stuff from PA and it just tastes better.  Too far away from home or school to get there more than once a year.  That's probably good for my cholesteror level.

I was in Greenville, SC last week for work and our customer asked to take us out for lunch.

My company is HQ'd in Greenville, and I go there about once a quarter. 

They have a restaurant there called Tako Sushi which is a half Mexican, half sushi restaurant.  Damnedest thing I ever saw.
