Not happening, and it would make no immediate impact except that the team might take the wind instead of the ball in OT.

No shtein it's not happening. If it did, would you run naked through the streets, or call Munson a douche? Both?

On another note, I was talking to my brother who is a sheriff in Bucks County, and he said he was pretty sure that smuggling drugs into a correctional facility carried a mandatory 2-4 years. It is given as automatic. Anyone else know about this?

A completely hypothetical here:

At the 1:00 presser, Andry Reid announces that after Sunday's game, he will step down as head coach of the Birds.

What would your immediate reaction be?

My immediate reaction would be, "That's nice Andry, but I'd be a whole lot happier if it was Andy who stepped down as head coach of the Birds."

Immediately disqualified from any valid opinion.

Ha!  Did the Grammar Police begin enacting affirmative action initiatives or something?

First of all... you're throwing too many big words at me.  Now, because I don't understand 'em... I'm gon' take 'em as disrespect.  Watch your mouth... and continue with your posting.

More charges against Garrett Reid
By Mari A. Schaefer

Inquirer Staff Writer

Additional drug charges against Garrett Reid were announced today in connection with the discovery of 89 pills in his jail cell, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor Jr..

Castor Jr. said Reid is being charged with smuggling contraband into the county jail, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and attempted delivery of a controlled substance.

Castor interviewed Reid's cellmate, who told prosecutors that he saw Reid remove the pills from his rectal area. In order to verify the cellmate's account, Castor said, detectives searched the Reid family home in Villanova last night and found prescription pills that matched the pills found in Reid's cell.

Garrett Reid,  the eldest son of Eagles coach Andy Reid, was sentenced yesterday to two to 23 months on charges arising out of a Jan. 30 accident. He had been free on bail before sentencing, but bail was revoked on two occasions: once for missing and once for flunking mandated drug tests.

QuoteReid Says He's Praying for Sons

BOB LENTZ

The Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA - Andy Reid hopes his prison-bound sons can "live a normal life down the road," but the Eagles coach withheld comment Friday of a judge's criticism that his household was a "drug emporium."

"I know this is a big story for everybody and I respect that," Reid said at his regular news conference. "On the other hand, I can't go into questioning on it at this time.

"However, as parents we have huge concerns for our two boys. This has been a battle we have dealt with here for a few years and I'm sure we'll continue to address the situation. ... Our prayers are obviously with the boys, for their future, and to make sure things work out, where they can live a normal life down the road."

On Thursday, 22-year-old Britt Reid detailed his eight-year struggle with painkillers and other drugs as he was sentenced to eight to 23 months in jail for pointing a gun at another driver on Jan. 30. He also pleaded guilty to charges including carrying a firearm without a license.

His 24-year-old brother, Garrett, was sentenced to two to 23 months in jail for a high-speed crash in which another driver was injured. Police found heroin, steroids and more than 200 pills in his car and he admitted using heroin on the day of the crash.

But two days before hosting the Dallas Cowboys in a pivotal contest, Reid had his game-face on. On Friday morning, he directed the offense through a myriad of drills as TV commentator John Madden and Eagles chairman Jeffrey Lurie looked on.

On Thursday, Montgomery County Judge Steven O'Neill called the Reids "a family in crisis" and questioned whether Britt and Garrett Reid should return to their parents' home after they serve their jail terms.

"These are highly addictive medications that are just around the house with two addicts in it," O'Neill said. "It sounds more or less like a drug emporium ... ."

He said it.  He actually said the same comment about his own farging children that he says about his zesty football team.

"We have to continue to address the situation..."

Un-farging-real.

Zanshin

No offense, but what did you actually expect him to say?  There really is nothing else to say.

ice grillin you

whats even more sad is the fact that he admitted thats hes been aware of this for years yet has continued to put in 100 hour weeks at the office

its one thing if these kids are goin to crack houses to get lifted but theres only two reasons how a "drug emporium" could be run out of the reids house

1. tammy is an incompetant housewife and/or a druggie herself
2. andy was never home
