I've ran lights before, cant do it anymore with the camera situations.

I blew lights on the Blvd. on a regular basis, but now that they've installed cameras that habit has stopped. My Juvenile Justice Professor (ex Philly cop) told us blown red lights at Grant and the Blvd. have gone down 96% since the cameras have been in place. He said that intersection is a gold mine.

I have never run red lights.  There are times on the bike late at night when I have to go through a red because the bike doesn't have enough metal mass to trip the light, and there are no cars at the intersection to do it either.  But that's different...I'm doing it from a stop after waiting long enough to be sure the light can't detect me, and I really don't have an option other than sit until a car happens to come.  I look look look look and then go.  What are you gonna do??

Simply blowing through red lights is suicidal/homicidal.

Blowing red lights and pausing at Stop signs is like second nature if you grew up driving in Philly.

I'm sure.  If you can see everything and there are no cars, I don't have as much complaint.

And the motorcycle scenario I'm talking about never happens in NYC, of course...that's more for rural areas.

Bronx drivers make the rest of NYC drivers look like law abiding grandmothers.  But don't get me wrong..there are lots of awful drivers in cities generally.  Not trying to get into a pissing match about where the worst drivers are.

Instead of turning signals, they should install taillights with middle fingers sticking up.  Right mittle finger, right turn, left middle finger, left turn.  It would save a lot of time, especially in Philly.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
