I would have used the conception of your first child as an example, but I'm guessing that was more like 2-3 minutes.

SunMo

don't get mad at me because your joke didn't work... just pick yourself up, dust off, and get back on that horse

Good idea.  Should I call Mrs. SunMo at home or on her cell?

QuoteEagles | E. Wright visits team
Mon, 23 Apr 2007 08:32:28 -0700

KFFL has learned UNLV CB Eric Wright met with the Philadelphia Eagles April 18. Wright spent time visiting with head coach Andy Reid.

Quote
ERIC WRIGHT: ANOTHER PACMAN?

Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News notes that cornerback Eric Wright ought to be a sure-thing first-round draft pick, given that he was good enough to start at USC as a redshirt freshman, and that he ran a 4.36 40-yard dash.  But that there's one problem:  He might have both the talent of Pacman Jones on the field and the personality of Pacman Jones off the field.

USC sent Wright packing after he was arrested on suspicion of rape and cops found 136 ecstasy pills in his apartment. Although charges were dropped in both of those incidents, that doesn't make him innocent in the eyes of NFL teams, who have to wonder whether he'll be able to keep his nose (and all other body parts) clean enough for Roger Goodell's standards.

Wright transferred to UNLV and played well there as both a cornerback and a kick returner, although the general consensus is that he wasn't as good a player on the field as you'd expect from his natural athletic ability.

Wright now chalks up his problems with the law as "an isolated incident or maybe two or three hours' worth of bad decisions" and says that "when people do background checks and people talk to me formally, it's only going to help me." But there's no doubt that a lot of NFL teams believe that drafting him isn't worth the risk that he'll make similar bad decisions again.

Vacchiano says Wright is "a player the Giants are seriously considering," but is that really how new General Manager Jerry Reese wants to break into the league?  By taking the guy who could be the next Pacman, Mr. Wright could end up being Mr. Wrong for the Giants -- and for any other NFL team

No thanks.

MDS are you writing for PFT?

Eagles scouted Grand Valley State QB Cullen Finnerty....wonder if its any relation to Collin Finnerty?

Kiper answering questions.....FWIW:

Quote
Pete (Philly): Which of the three "other" safety prospects would be the best fit for the eagles. Nelson, Merriwhehter or Griffin?

Mel Kiper: I have them taking Nelson. I have him projected to them. He's a playmaker. He's got a little bit of Ed Reed in him. He's at the right place at the right time. He was reguarded as one of the best defensive players on that talented Florida football team. He's got some cover skills. There are some that think he can handle CB in the NFL.

Quote
Big Seelz [Wayne, PA]: Mel- How seriously do you think my Eagles are looking at Brian Leonard? How is he NOT a great fit for us?

Mel Kiper: I think he's a great fit too. He's not just a fullback, he's a running back. He's an H-back. The Eagles are the one team in the first round that you could say don't have a critical need area. They have the luxury to take a guy at pick 26 like a guy like Brian Leonard. They have the luxury. Everyone thought all along that he would be a second round pick. But if the Eagles took him in the first round, no one would criticize the pick.

I love how some experts feel the Eagles don't have "need" areas, like they are set for a Super Bowl run as is.

White tweener RB in the first round?  Barfalicious.

I'd criticize the hell out of that pick. Why the farg would they spend a 1st round pick on a guy who would get 7 or 8 touches a game at most?

Geowhizzer

The Eagles are fine at linebacker... defensive line... power back... head coach...

Because, apparently, they have the luxury to completely waste the pick!

ice grillin you

I love how some experts feel the Eagles don't have "need" areas, like they are set for a Super Bowl run as is.

that and what also doesnt make sense is how people like kiper and heckert (who also said this week the eagles have no needs) is that the always refer to the draft as your future and how you build a team....so really its not that much about needs right now but more so needs down the road....which is why i really think they NEED a defensive end and they NEED to get dawkins replacement...even tho those arent positions youd say they need right this second...

because if you dont fill those potential holes then in two years your ends are gonna be chris gocong and juqua thomas and your safties quinten mikell and sean considine....

but at least theyd have brian leonard
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous
