Just saying that time passes too damn quick.

Back to living players, the Devil Rays had enough of Elijah Dukes, his attitude, his 6-kids-with-5-women-including-a-17-yr-old-foster-kid, etc. and dropped him from the roster and dumped the contents of his locker into a bin.

GET DUKES!

It's easy to cut a troublemaker if he's hitting .190.

At age 23, I would think that he would still have options, and the Rays wouldn't have to DFA.

Cards got Mike Maroth from the Tigers for the ever-so-popular PTBNL.

No word on who the PTBNL is yet, but on first thought it has me angry that Gillick didn't take a shot. Especially since Lieber is hurt and when he's not has been garbage.

Jones is one of my personal favorites, mostly since I've been able to follow him since A-ball in 1995.  Genuinely nice guy.
