I dont understand punters. its the easiest friggin position to play in the game unless your backed up in the end zone. unless its an all out punt block (very rare), these guys have plenty of time to set up and get the kick off. no reason what-so-ever to consistently shank balls when thats all you do in practice..none

unlike a fg kicker who has literally has 3 seconds to get the kick off with the proper height, has 2 corners coming down on him with he quickness, and 9 other dudes pushing up tight jumping in the air.

define "when it really matters" because i don't see the eagles being in any situations this year where punting will really matter.

don't get me wrong, dook isn't very good but i doubt there's anyone any better out there right now and even it there is, it's not like a new punter is going to fix all of this teams problems. there's other areas that could be addressed in-season that might actually make a difference. like head coach.
