Cooked or uncooked bacon?

shorebird

Uncooked, it cooked in the pot 4-5 hrs. on low. I would guess that way of doing it lets the flavor/grease from the bacon go through the chili.

I usually use half cooked bacon, so it doesnt come out extremely greasy, but its friggin awesome.
