i turned the internets back on in january also.  was without it from i believe july or august until january.  i could have started posting in january but was too lazy. 

posting from my cell sucks too.  i've done it a couple times already but don't particularly care for it.

nah, this place is a lot like howard stern.  the majority of his listeners hate him, but they still tune in when he's on the air.

i almost got an iphone when i upgraded in january.  instead i opted for a crackberry bold.  i like it but i cant say that i love it like a lot of crackberry users do.  i'm still learning how to use it though and it def kicks the crap out of my old phone, which was just a basic phone. 

on the flip side though, the only people i've seen with an iphone so far are total douchebags.  i have yet to see just your average joe rocking one yet.

new specs for the new iphone 3G "S" (which stands for speed) that were leaked today is a jump in the processor speed from 412mhz to 600mhz, 256MB of RAM and a larger graphics chip

they are battling with the Palm Pre this year that basically holds the same specs

If you are an existing AT&T customer who has been in your current contract for at least somewhere between 18 and 22 months (it varies by individual), you pay $199.

If you are a new AT&T customer willing to sign a two-year contract, you will pay $199 plus a $36 activation fee, for a total of $235.

If you are an existing AT&T customer who hasn't been in your current contract for 22 months, and you're willing to extend your contract, you pay $399.

$199 ain't bad.  i just updated to a crackberry bold back in jan/feb so i won't be due for another upgrade for another 18 mo.  i don't really care for it either so when it's time for a new phone, i'll either go iphone or windows based smartphone.

Not too many reasons to upgrade for me. I'll keep the 3G for awhile. I think the software update is going to include copy and paste so that'll be nice.

If you don't want the 3Gs, then you can now buy the 3G for $99. Thats a good deal
