Evel Knievel was the shtein when I was a kid. He had balls as big as grapefruits.

Ceasar's Palace Jump. As I remember it, the landing didn't go too well.

I'm not sure now about that pic, it almost looks like Robbie's Palace jump, but this one I am sure about.

Diomedes

The idea that he could ever have landed those jumps is ludicrous.  Those machines had like two inches of suspension travel.

He was number three on my list! Sweet... er I mean sad. He was the shtein when we was kids.

This video has corny music, but shows a lot of his jumps.

espnclassic did a thing on him a while back. Maybe they show it again, it was good.

How many of you had the Evel Kneivel motorcycle? I'd say the price for them on ebay will go up a bit.

And that death moved you into 2nd place, bumping me down to 3rd.

Welcome to the money, Freddie.

Ass.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

There's still almost a whole month for people to dying.  Say a few Hail Maries to Sean Taylor.

Napoleon Dynamite went apeshtein in Omaha.  Too bad it's far too much trouble to find the good riddance thread.
Anyone but Reid.

Certainly, he's a good riddance candidate.

Diomedes

Meh, I don't hold it against him too much that he whupped Tina Turner a coulple times.  She got more than her revenge by turning him into one of themost hated figures in entertainment.

He was a hugely talented musician; without Ike Turner, we might not have rock and roll.

That's the only reason he's a candidate and not a slam dunk.

Diomedes

which, that he was a talented musician whose contribution was crucial to rock and roll being created, or that he was vilified worse than Mike Vick?
