Back to the game talk...Westbrook left practice with what is reported as an illness...

Take some DayQuil and suck it up 36.

Don't know what the white means on that map, but it's covering my house on the Delmarva Penninsula. Thank God for the Sunday Ticket.

The Flu has really been bad down here in Maryland. From what I've seen, I hope he doesn't have that.

Baltimore has a home game at 4:15, so FOX is blacked out...

I'm hoping for the Eagles to build a substantial lead in the first half so Westbrook doesn't have to carry the load this game and can rest for next week's matchup. He deserves some sort of break for being one of the major catalysts on this offense the past 5 weeks and also considering he's been particularly banged up most of the year as well.

So......if Detroit beats Dallas at 1, how many starters sit this game out?
Anyone but Reid.

Eaglez

I don't think the starters will sit out but they will probably see their snaps reduced and most of them will probably sit by the 2nd half.

However, I doubt Detroit will win. Plus, I think I'd rather see the 1st team come in and continue to display their continuity going into the playoffs. Then, once they displayed that and built a lead, then they can rest.

Don Ho

as much as i'd love to see it there is no way Detroit wins.  Although didn't the Lions beat the Rams several years ago to give the birds home field?  2003 I think.

Anyone know why Moats is in the doghouse??  Why the hell is is Reno taking snaps in Westbrooks absence?

Yesterday, for example, they kept his practice reps the same even though Westbrook was absent with an illness.

Moats has fumbleitis and is allergic to blitz pick-ups.

I thought maybe the last 16 weeks on the bench and some coaching would've fixed that.  oh well.

Let's face it - they wouldn't have even drafted him if not to scare Westbrook into signing for under market value.

Since Westbrook did sign, I'd say *mission accomplished* for Moats.

Butchers Bill

Totally agree about the reason for drafting him...but the kid does have some talent.  That, and I hate Reno.   :boom

I always thought Moats had talent, too. But I guess he'll just forever be relegated to a blog reporter on PE.com

Also, when the Eagles bring back Bruce Perry when a roster spot opened up that tells you something about Moat's future.
