Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Thing is, I don't see Boehner as that smart a guy.  I think he was setup to be the fall guy for this entire scenario.  He's a drunk orange man.

Party politics are nauseating. I don't know why I even popped in here. What a trainwreck. Both sides are just flat out loaded with bought and paid for iceholes who care mostly about his or her own gain. Broken system, and I don't trust anyone who makes it to that level of politics. What an embarrassment.

Susquehanna Birder

Agreed. There's BS on both sides, and it's getting old, really fast.

smeags

yep both sides continually act like petchulant kids stomping their feet when they dont get their way and point the finger of blame at the other side while the public in most cases mirrors the behavior.

Really fellas?  That's your take away from this?  Am I the only one who is really mad that tax dollars were spent making poster-size replicas of paragraphs from House Resolutions?

General_Failure

They could have bought 1/40th of a toilet seat with that money.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Rome

lol @ anyone blaming the democrats for this.

jesus farging christ, people.   have you heard anything remotely as insane from a democrat as the shtein that flows from the sewers of ted cruz, rand paul or john boehner lately?    honestly, i'm asking...

I'm a little baffled by people's reactions too. Though for different reasons. It's amazingly intellectually lazy for people to look at this situation and say 'both sides are to blame'. The GOP has been planning this shutdown for months and now that it's here, suddenly it's the democrats fault too? Luckily the huge majority of the country recognizes who's to blame here.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.
