That's personal responsibility for you, Republican style.  Union members pay and fight for safe work environments, fair pay, etc...non union members pay nothing and reap the rewards.

I'd down with a "right to work" system in which only the paying union member get the union contract rights and benefits, much like I'd be down with allowing people to opt out of health care, provided they must pay for their care when they need it (or not get it at all if they can't.)

no problem with people not wanting to be in an union. when your wages get cut try finding a lawyer to argue your case or brothers and sisters to stand with. this is the america we live in....people only care about their short term paycheck so they can buy more crap they dont need.

when you get sick, when you lose your job, when you cant pay your bills it always becomes someone elses fault.

I mentioned starting a union once in the office.  Actually, I only asked why we weren't a union shop or have AFSCME representation.  I got a look back that suggested I never mention it again.  That's what living in a RTW state looks like.  People are shtein-scared to even suggest it.  farg it.  I have 6 more years until my kid is in college and then I really don't give a flying farg what I do for the rest of my life.  Maybe I'll run for the top job?

Oh yeah I get into it all the time with the people in Texas....now I just troll their asses to rile them up.

I read about a potential coast to coast dockworkers strike (Sobotka say whatttt) that could affect the deliveries of some of our import plywoods and lumber....send the article out and got people bitching about unions lol
