Could someone please explain to me how the Republicans plan on cutting spending. The whole idea of being a 'fiscal conservative' is hilarious especially considering their record over the past 30 years. Where's this big plan of theirs?

And yes, we can all point to Obama but the biggest pieces of the pie aren't from his programs like the wars and the Bush Tax cuts.

i didnt watch the convention but i read about his one lie where he blames obama for a gm plant in wisky closing down when it actually closed in dec 2008

how can they get away with this...its one thing to disagree on policy or even to fudge numbers but to just blantantly spew one lie after another that are so easily refuted and still people believe is amazing to me

the republicans might cut spending...after all if it was up to ryan hed essentially eliminate the federal government....what they will do is exactly what reagan did....hammer away at every possible social and entitlement program....crush education spending.....slash aid to the states from places like FEMA (which is super ironic this week)...the problem is not cutting spending....i have no doubt they will be able to do that if they went with ryans plan....the problem is going to be revenue...which is to say there will be none

and of course the real problem is going to be the millions of people who suffer under a regime like this just as they did with reagan...if you are a women or minority or gay or poor or sick you are basically farged....you watch the homeless rate is going to go thru the roof while the help to the homeless is slashed and burned....and god forbid you are a middle class blue collar worker union member...say goodbye to workers rights and unions under these people....techers cops firemen all also in trouble

i didn't watch much of Ryan's speech but i saw teh part where he talked about his mom, faked getting choked up, and wiped away a tear that wasn't there.  what a fraud.
