....but that part is already done by the states...there is nothing the White House has to do that's involved with that part of the law. The data is sent to a federal agency in Vermont or wherever that confirms whether someone is illegal or not and that information is sent back to the state that requested it.

You're watching way too much Fox man.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Yes, what he's saying is "it's your law, enforce it"...it's not a federal law, it's not the federal government's job to enforce it. Massachusetts allows gay marriage, you don't see the federal government enforcing it.

The part that wasn't struck down is just a state expansion of what is already federal policy.

really? its not the Federal gov's job to enforce illegal immigration? well if thats the case then shoudn't each state be able to create their own immigration laws? wait, Arizona tried that. so which is it? the states right? or the fed's right?

phillymic2000

Really don't care about the (insert racist comment here) website. Dispute it with facts.

QuoteIllegal Immigration Laws

Most Americans know our basic laws regarding illegal immigration. It is illegal to enter the United States without permission. The first time an illegal immigrant is caught in the US it is a misdemeanor civil offense. This is because we want to be able to quickly return illegal aliens to Mexico or Canada, when they are caught at the border without the rigors of a jury trial.

After the first offense, being caught a second time is a felony!

It is also against the law to overstay a visa issued by the US Government and illegal for an employer to knowingly hire illegal immigrants.

Are you being intentionally dense?

It's not the federal goverment's job to enforce an individual state law. The Federal government has it's own illegal immigration laws to enforce. If Arizona passed a law tomorrow banning all children with red hair from living in Arizona, it wouldn't be the federal government's job to enforce said law.

Phillymic... I'm not going to further assassinate your character (or lack thereof) on this site.  You've already done enough of that by yourself.  But because I'm a curious sort I actually clicked on that link you provided.  The site does offer some interesting factual information about immigration enforcement, but that information is also available on a host of platforms that DON'T include links like this one:

http://www.againstamnesty.com/index.php

Are you farging kidding me?  Don't farging tell me to "ignore" the site when they have links on it that direct you to bullshtein racist white power nonsense like that. (Note - William Gheen is exactly that.  Don't bother suggesting otherwise.)   I don't know you personally.  All I know of you is what I see posted here.  But you're getting called out on this.  If you're going to insist on expressing your views here, that's fine.  It's a free country.  But if you're going to post links from iceholes like these clowns, you're going on ignore permanently.

Gheen is the guy who is trying to out Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) as a homosexual when he's not screeching about "the illegals."

I think he's probably onto something about Graham though.  I mean, look at the guy.  Listen to him.  Gee aye wye.

Gheen advocated for the violent overthrow of the Obama presidency.  Then he weaseled out of it and claimed he was misquoted.    Typical act of cowardice from that racist piece of shtein and that's why I got into such a huff over Mic posting that link.

You can't post links like that and then claim the source is irrelevant.   Sorry.

so i was at a wedding last night and met this girl who is an emergency room doctor in new orleans.....she tells me 99% of the people who go into an er are just trying to go back to their jobs...they are blue collar workers who dont have/cant afford insurance and all they care about are getting back to work so they can make money....i was always under the assumption that er's were filled with car accidents and shtein like that...anyway she compared the aca to having to buy car insurance and that in general the amount of money it will save on premiums will be atsronomical
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

At the very least people having insurance will be alerted to conditions before they become difficult to treat or even terminal.  That's a win for everyone concerned, especially the taxpayer.  After all, it's better to treat an illness early than it is to have an indigent terminal patient sucking money out of the system for months until they die, and that shtein happens every day.

That's what makes McConnell & Boehner such unbelievable shteinbags for ramping up unconscionable objections to this legislation.  They're farging with people's lives over partisanship.  Talk about impeachable offenses.

Rome

Oh, and by the way... Rick Scott says farg no to helping the sick.  Great job, Floridians.  Way to vote for someone who made his fortune bilking billions out of health care fraud.

If they don't comply with the law, it'll be fun watching them starved of federal assistance, forcing a raise in taxes to pay for shtein themselves.

No problem.  That baldheaded cork sucker will just slash state workers' jobs, raise fees like car registrations, state business licenses and other soft costs to make up the difference.
