stewart going on o'reilly on monday to debate the common fox news manufactured controversy

the guys at work were crying all day long on Wednesday about this.

I didn't know who the F Common was but I very quickly figured out he's black.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Zune....Microsoft MP3 player, right?

I have not watched ten minutes of television since Vick tried to find Riley Cooper.

They're saying it's inappropriate that he's coming to the White House.  You need to watch the daily show segment on it.  I think it was Wednesday.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Diomedes

was there an uproar when Bush hosted Kenny Chesney or Billy Ray Cyrus?

Or whatever dumb white people performer he entertained.

Is Common dumb?  For all I know, he's good.

Who cares.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

All those knuckleheads know is he raps, therefore he must be a gangster.

Diomedes

okay so now I know who common is and all that...and surprise surprise...there's nothing wrong with him at all....unless you hate/fear rappers/black people.

So there you go:  FOX peddling hate to racists.  Who woulda thunk it?

This is a great example of how FOX takes this stuff way further than MSNBC.  People like to say they are two sides of the same coin..people who watch Fox anyway.  In point of fact, FOX is a racist, dishonest, propagandistic arm for the American Taliban.  MSNBC leans left, whereas Fox pushes the right ever further and further away from center.

Actually, people who watch and enjoy Fox like to think of it as a beacon of truth, not two sides of the same coin as MSNBC, which is even worse.

The two parts of Jon Stewart blasting Fox and Hannity into oblivion.

hilarious and the double standard is great. I'm as big of a Johnny Cash fan as there is but there's zero difference in misinterpreting his lyrics and Common's lyrics, the only difference is Johnny Cash is white and is popular to middle America where as Common is black and popular to 'those other' people. If this isn't blatant racism then I don't know what is. Stewart knocked the Ted Nugent/Hannity stuff out the park.
