And what he said was wrongheaded and offensive; watching the whole clip he welded it into a reasonable position, but kept getting cut off and steered into saying more ignorant things. So sad, Juan, but NPR has an audience who doesn't tolerate that sort of thing, so my ruling on his firing is....
