I'm not a diehard Republican. I'm conservative.  Both parties suck, in my opinion.  Highly polarized people on both sides, with too much power, that keep compromises from ever happening.   A ridiculous amount of pork barrel spending that doesn't help anyone, and in the end, we all get screwed.
