So you think Biden is "wonderful"...well good for you. I don't. I don't like him a little. I don't like Palin either...for different reasons. And considering he barely made through 3 primaries in two seperate decades...not many people share your POTUS sentiment. Thank god.

No matter who gets elected...no one will give a crap 2 weeks after the inauguration.

Biden is shellshocked by your point of view

I am scared for the future of my kids.

Seriously...this is a cop-out extremist answer. If you were truly scared for the future of your children...you should not have had children, why would anyone willingly subject a child to living in a world where you are scared for their survival?

The short answer: Because you know that will never happen, so you can make these idle threats to make it sound that the election of one person, or two people will lead to our downfall as a functioning society.

And if you think the result of one one presidential election is going to lead to the entire destruction of this country...why haven't you moved somewhere you deem "safe," like Cerevant, or Dio?

Uh, the choice of Palin as VP came after the kids.

I fear for their future if she were to ever become the POTUS. Yes, I do. Its not a cop out, nor an extremist answer. Its fact.

So where are you moving to if McCain is elected and then buys a farm?

hahah shes complaining about couric not doing her job now?

:-D :-D :-D

she should be thanking gwen for not asking her to actually answer the questions. she was caught in a awkward position because of her book which actually worked in favor of the republicans. built in defense ready. same with biden. if he comes off aggressive hes sexist or mean.

btw a interesting point i found by glenn greenwald:
QuoteUPDATE: On an obviously related note, this was the exchange I found most striking in last night's Biden-Palin debate:

BIDEN: Gwen, no one in the United States Senate has been a better friend to Israel than Joe Biden. I would have never, ever joined this ticket were I not absolutely sure Barack Obama shared my passion. . . .

PALIN: But I'm so encouraged to know that we both love Israel, and I think that is a good thing to get to agree on, Sen. Biden. I respect your position on that.

They don't just consider Israel an ally. They don't just both support Israel. No, that's woefully inadequate. Instead: Biden has a "passion" for Israel and is its best friend, while Palin declares how excited she is that they "both love Israel."

They "love Israel"? I'm asking this literally, not rhetorically: is there any other country in the world where presidential candidates are required to -- or even could -- proclaim their "passion" and "love" for another country in a national election? And other than Israel, is there any country for which candidates for the American presidency could get away with proclaiming their "passion" and "love"? It's not exactly healthy or rational for someone who wants to lead one country to swear their fealty, passion and love for another.

Our country is such an oil whore that every political candidate for every position has to prostrate themselves before mighty Israel. They're our only ally in the Middle East and as long as we're all attached by the lips to the oil-tit politicians will fall all over themselves talking about how great Israel is. It's a farging sham and it's an embarrassment to our country.

I cringe every time they (any politician basically) claims Israel is our only ally in the ME (because its not true) and then go ahead to claim democracy to be the reason why. Well Hamas was elected democratically and the US has them on the EVIL list. The Royal Saudi family is one of the most brutal unchecked regimes on Earth and in bed with the US govt. The lies and distortions are absurd but not as much as the fact the majority of the Americans buy it.

If you want to hear non-stop almost stream of consciousness hatred of Obama I seriously suggest you listen to Sean Hannity.  My God, he is absolutely the most repulsive piece of shtein scumbag racist I've ever heard.  I just wish once he'd come out and say, "DON'T VOTE FOR THE NEGRO WHATEVER YOU DO!"

Oh, and his love for Sarah Palin is also incredible in its completeness.  I don't understand that about the right, though.  This woman is completely unqualified to hold high office, yet to them she's an ideal almost perfect candidate.  Just amazing.

Hannity I know and understand but what self respecting democrat/liberal be a co-host? Or pretend to be a co-host when really Colmes is playing the bitch role as he sits and lets Hannity talk over him.

The thing is Rome, is I'm pretty God-damned far right... but I agree that anyone that is holding on to Palin as the answer is either a) doing it purely for promotional purposes, or b) so far up the Republican asses that I end up looking Democrat.

The answer is... and I've said this a couple times now, devoid of how much I love that broad... Palin is not White House ready.  And that weakens the McCain ticket.  Period.

QuoteWith just a month to go until Election Day, McCain's team has decided that its emphasis on the senator's biography as a war hero, experienced lawmaker and straight-talking maverick is insufficient to close a growing gap with Obama. The Arizonan's campaign is also eager to move the conversation away from the economy, an issue that strongly favors Obama and has helped him to a lead in many recent polls.
"We're going to get a little tougher," a senior Republican operative said, indicating that a fresh batch of television ads are coming. "We've got to question this guy's associations. Very soon. There's no question that we have to change the subject here," said the operative, who was not authorized to discuss strategy and spoke on the condition of anonymity.
