I just saw a car with a massive Eagles logo and an Obama bumper sticker on the PA turnpike.  The sad part is that my first thought was how well he'd fit in at :CF

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Gotta love Obama's strategy - every time he speaks now, he never refers to just McCain.  Everything is "Bush and McCain".  He's going to play that 20% approval rating for everything it is worth.
