with florida out of the equation obamas chances just skyrocketed...when i said i didnt think hed get it i was going under the assumption that florida and michigan revotes would happen

Even though there has never been any indication that that would be the case

IGY wants nothing more than for Obama to win, which is why it's so easy for him to stay "objective" by continually beating the drum for Hillary's chances.

Worst-case scenario for him is that he's right.  Best-case is that Obama actually wins.

He does it with sports also, if you haven't noticed.

or people can think what they want to happen sometimes will happen...for example me thinking the sixers will win a title in the next three years or trent cole will lead the nfl in sacks one day...and amazing as it may sound to a simpleton like you that same person can also believe that what they want to happen wont...like barry winning the presidency or kyle kendrick not flaming out this year

you really need help with these things dont you

so if michigan still happens was there never an indication of that either?

read the papers watch the news follow this thing at least a little bit before you comment

I'll refrain from boring people with another back-and-forth, but you hedge your emotional bets all the time and proclaim against what you really want more often than not.

And don't tell me you don't have a special spot in your heart for Kyle Kendrick, like you do for the Dallas Cowboys.

I follow this closer than you would think.

I just dont normally find it useful to comment on politics here. But the only sources that even hinted at a redo for florida or michigan have come from speculation, not the DNC.

The only sources that matter are the ones that make the best case for IGY's argument.

It definitely looked like a revote was going to happen in Michigan for a while there.  I'll give him that.  Florida's been screwed all along.

ice grillin you

howard dean was fine with a revote as long as it could be paid for and said so...he was never sure where the money would come from but he said a revote was possible...this was when corzine said hed pay for it and there was a lot of talk about getting the money from different places...and there was tons of talk about a mail in vote

im not saying a revote was 90/10 gonna happen or anything but there was enough chance that it might happen that someone could think it would...especially when your talking about the clinton machine pushing for it

youre missing the point....i like kyle kendrick i want him to do well i just dont think he will...i like barry i hope he wins but i dont think he will...i like the sixers i hope they win a title and i think they will

what is it about your thick skull that you dont think its possible for people to want something to happen but dont think it will....why is this even an issue?

as much as youd like it to be douchebag its not an argument...it was my opinion that there would be revotes

The one throwing around "douchebag" and "simpleton" is not the one who wants to argue?

Sure.

Like I said, just because you occasionally get on board, like with this year's Sixers team, doesn't mean that your M.O. is not usually to bet against your choice financially and emotionally like you've clearly done with Obama.

He is the odds-on favorite to be the next POTUS.  Embrace it, and get on the bandwagon with the others.

The only sources that matter are the ones that make the best case for IGY's argument.

Anything else is blind fanaticism or scary, stalker hate.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

It's a general rule of thumb around here that you will hold whatever opinion you think will rub the most people the wrong way.

Hillary is still talking about how Obama is all talk, no action.

She's neither.

thats your problem not mine...i pretty much disagree with everything you can ff say but id never accuse you of making it up or typing something you dont believe in...number one i cant read minds and wouldnt pretend to...and number two i cant imagine why anyone would do that on a message board as it literally renders the whole idea of a discussion board useless

perhaps you dont like my opinions thus they must not be my own?...i dont know

I think my point just zoomed over your head.
