You live in the state with people too stupid to design and vote with a damn ballot.

Gore would have been elected if Florida Democrats weren't morons.  Case in point- the way they've handled this primary, or lack thereof.

Biter.

All this is true.  Doesn't change the fact that I didn't vote for Bush as I firmly suspect you did, not once, but twice.

Bush isn't qualified to hold the office of Crawford City Dog Catcher much less the POTUS.

While I can proudly say I never voted for Bush I do feel that Kerry would have been a bad president for different reasons. Gore would have made a descent president I feel though he's polarizing these days.

Yea Bill Clinton was a bulldog against the first world trade center attack, the uss cole, the khobar towers. Yep a couple of missles into afganistan sure taught those bad guys a lesson. If we pull out of Iraq like the dems are calling for it gives the terrorists a home base to grow and expand without our influenceds. They would much rather attack in the US mainland then take shots at our men and women over there.

Now obama is admitting that Rezko gave him more money then he admitted :-D

so the republicans created the iraq mess and they would be the best to clean it up too? eventhough they have shown no ability to understand the ppl, the history, and the war going on?

also i love how obama's pastor gets so much play but what i posted about mccain's crazy off the wall spiritual guide said has not been mentioned at all in the media.

All I'm saying is I didn't vote for him twice.

I voted for him in 2004 and 2004 only, over John Kerry.  I would say I regret my vote, but Kerry's still a douchebag and North Carolina had precisely zero chance of going blue in 2004 regardless.

Thinking of the ways Democrats have shot themselves in the foot the last few elections, it's no wonder we have a two-term President like Bush.  The Democrats deserve it for their idiocy.

2000 - Picking Lieberman, Butterfly ballot
2004 - John "Frankenstein" Kerry?  That's what you bring to the table?
2008 - Barack and Hillary fighting it out to the death while McCain is afforded a much-needed (he's old!) opportunity to rest up for the general election.

Seriously, Republicans have a zesty enough platform these days.  It's incredible the Democrats haven't been able to take over the government altogether.

I could understand someone of reasonable intelligence voting for him in 2000 but in 2004?  After what he did??

NFW

I don't care if Kerry raped my dog... he still would have gotten my vote over Bush.  He didn't, obviously.  I voted Libertarian and I don't regret it one bit either.  Both of those corksuckers would have been bad for this country, but of the two, it's really not even close who would have been worse.  The last four years of misery are a sad testament to that.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Libertarians tend to not be for all-out Socialism.  We have a whole host of new issues since the 2004 election.

Pelosi says that supers should follow the pledged delegates.

Quote"If the votes of the superdelegates overturn what's happened in the elections, it would be harmful to the Democratic party," Pelosi said in an interview taped Friday for broadcast Sunday on ABC's "This Week."

QuoteIn her interview, Pelosi also said that even if one candidate winds up with a larger share of the popular vote than the delegate leader, the candidate who has more delegates should prevail.

"It's a delegate race," she said. "The way the system works is that the delegates choose the nominee."

Nancy P just doesn't want to be the 2nd most powerful woman in US politics.

As for Hillary's "control" of swing states (Rasmussen polls 3/10):

       Obama    Hillary   (/vs McCain)
PA     43/44    44/46
OH     40/46    40/46
FL     43/47    40/47

Looks like either one will easily win all 3 once you factor the consolidation and an active campaign against McCain.

Will you move to the US if we elect Obama?

You sure are taking an active interest for someone without a vote.

I do have a vote...I even get to vote in the PA primary.  JFC, how many times do I have to say that I'm a US citizen?  I've been up here for less than 2 years, and you all already forget that I used to live in SunMo's back yard.

It is quite possible that we'll move back at some point.  I hate my job, and my wife (who makes as much as I do) has much better job prospects in PA, NJ or NC.  However, before I move back (regardless of who wins) I want to see that someone in Washington has actually read the constitution and remembers what civil rights are.

Regardless, the whole farging world is taking an active interest in this campaign, and I haven't heard of one country that isn't strongly behind Obama.  I heard a news report that Germany is calling Obama "the black JFK".
