Yeah Obama is more tech savvy for sure. His website is the smoothest of all the andidates. Kind of strange that all the democratic candidates have the same website template though.

Thanks Phanatic

QuoteThank you....I didn't think it needed to be spoonfed to anyone. Usually, if one wants to KNOW something, they research it.

Yeah I'm sure you knew all about it. ::) ::)

Actually, not only did I know about it, I had sent it to my dad last week.  :-*

Romney Drops out Officially.

He's dropping out because it's "best for the Repub party."  Not that he had a chance anyway, but good riddance.

So, assuming McCain gets the nod:

McCain: too liberal for the real conservatives
Hillary: too conservative for the real liberals
Obama: True liberal with the backing of a large, typically non-voting backing (blacks and people < 25)

If it ends up Hillary v. McCain, you are looking at a battle for the independents.
If it ends up Obama v. McCain, it comes down to Obama getting the vote out.

At this point I think it has to be Obama for the Dems.  McCain would probably win the battle for Independents, but there will also be a lot of non-votes from the religious right.  Obama could win the "pissed at Bush" moderates, and drum up the passion of the typical non-voters.

I used to think the Republicans had no shot but with McCain at the front, I'm not so sure.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Funny, going into this thing I thought the exact opposite.  I figured that as much as people would want to vote Dem just for the sake of changing, many would go back to the Republicans once they saw the Dems running out there with a woman and minority candidate.

That's about the third or fourth time in the last year Fox has done this.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
