Don't get it.....seriously, what trick?  Maybe I need to watch more fox news to be cool.

I don't understand the entire "Obama is all talk and no substance" camp.  Sure he doesn't talk about policy initiatives in his campaign speeches--that is not the idea setting for it.  If you watch any of the debates he clearly outlines his plan on almost every issue, and he has his ideas published throughout the web.  It is not that difficult to see where he stands on everything.

I think once the general election comes, the independents are not going to be for McCain once they start hearing about his comment about staying in Iraq for 100 years.  McCain's only hope is that the conservative base is mobilized if Hillary wins the democratic ticket.

Yeah well I'm an independant and I agree with him and really so does Hillary. She just can't say that right now.

Obama destroyed Clinton in LA, WA and NE (not surprisingly).

Nice night for him.  :yay

Huckabee winning more states....scary beyond belief.

Obama, the anti-Huckabee.

Quote"For one, they need to understand the critical role that the separation of church and state has played in preserving not only our democracy, but the robustness of our religious practice. Folks tend to forget that during our founding, it wasn't the atheists or the civil libertarians who were the most effective champions of the First Amendment. It was the persecuted minorities, it was Baptists like John Leland who didn't want the established churches to impose their views on folks who were getting happy out in the fields and teaching the scripture to slaves. It was the forbearers of the evangelicals who were the most adamant about not mingling government with religious, because they did not want state-sponsored religion hindering their ability to practice their faith as they understood it.

Moreover, given the increasing diversity of America's population, the dangers of sectarianism have never been greater. Whatever we once were, we are no longer just a Christian nation; we are also a Jewish nation, a Muslim nation, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.

And even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools? Would we go with James Dobson's, or Al Sharpton's? Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is ok and that eating shellfish is abomination? How about Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith? Or should we just stick to the Sermon on the Mount - a passage that is so radical that it's doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application? So before we get carried away, let's read our bibles. Folks haven't been reading their bibles.

This brings me to my second point. Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason. I may be opposed to abortion for religious reasons, but if I seek to pass a law banning the practice, I cannot simply point to the teachings of my church or evoke God's will. I have to explain why abortion violates some principle that is accessible to people of all faiths, including those with no faith at all."
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

When did Mitt Romney say that voting for Obama or Clinton would be like surrenduring to terrorism?

What a farging fruit loop.

Based on that statement above I'd love to see a debate between Huckabee and Obama actually.

We may need to start a "Point and Laugh at Mike Huckabee Blog Comments Thread"

QuoteOnce again, God's will will not lack God's supply. Mike Huckabee did indeed "major in miracles".
My prayers have been very specific--
1) For a hedge of protection around Mike Huckabee and his family and that we like Aaron of old stand firm to hold up and support Mike so he can go on.
2) That any losses from now on are only in proportional states, so Mike will gather some proportional delegates.
3) That no "winner take all" states be lost from now on. (Thank you Kansas for helping answer this prayer!)
4) That Texas will deliver all 140 delegates solely to Mike Huckabee.
5) That media stop trying to arrange the outcome and just report the facts.
6) That Christians realize absentiating themselves from politics for decades contributed to the moral decline of our nation. Sins by omission. As our Founders knew, our God is an awesome God but He does not expect Christians to be complacent and to compartmentalize or relegate beliefs just to the home, church and among Christians. God and our Founders knew belief and faith are integral to our being and should not be shucked off in the public or political square.
7) That all Lent observing Christians give up political complacency.
8) That GOP leadership refrain from dirty tactics against Mike Huckabee and recognize all attempts to marginalize his remarkable political presence only convinces the conservative base that the GOP leadership cares nothing for the conservative base.
9) That other prayer warriors will join in these petitions because prayers indeed work.
Aren't you ready for a president you can trust?
10) And finally I will continue to donate $100 from every paycheck.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

If I was running against Huckabee I think I would try to get Marilyn Manson to be my running partner just to freak him the farg out.

LMFAO...W is supporting McCain and defending Bill/Hillary.

Yet about Obama he states:

Quote"I certainly don't know what he believes in."

Sounds like he knows that Hillary vs. McCain might lead to a possible win for McCain but Obama scares the living shtein out of him.

I love it. The more he dumps on Obama, the more people will run to the polls to vote for him...just to oppose W.

For the first time in 8 years I say, THANKS DUBYA. :-D
