Upper Deck was forced to pull this card from its 2008 set because Clinton was offended.  It's currently on ebay for $1550  :-D

Damn, Hillary got a little badonkadunk.

I get pissed off at the "experience" claim.  The only experience she has is in the Senate the last 8 years.  The rest of her "career" is standing in the shadow of her husband.  My ex is a PhD in Chemistry - does that mean I have the experience to work at a University?  I helped her grade papers (multiple choice) and went to dinner parties, after all.

I agree.  Also, on the issue of healthcare, Clinton's plan is different from Obama's in that hers requires everyone to have health insurance.  Obama's works on the premise that if the cost is low enough, everyone will get it.  FWIW, I heard an economist on McNeil-Lehrer say that only Hillary's would work because you need everyone to participate if you want it to work.  That means the young and healthy have to get health insurance, even if they may not want to pay for it.

i dont think the govt has a right to tell you where you have to spend your money....i think affordable health care is the key here not universal health care....i would leave an exception for children tho...they must be covered

shtein, I'm agreeing with IGY. This is where my problem lies....the govt does NOT have the right to tell you where to spend your money.

I also have a big problem with her claims of experience, as I've mentioned on this thread before.

So the Gov't can't tell you how to spend money but they can tell you how to run your business?  ;)

The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Got to vote for Ron Paul today.  He doesn't have a chance but that isn't what it is about anyway.

The universal health care for only those that want it is great in principle but leads to the old hospitals don't turn away patients health care or not and we all pay for it argument.

Sorry - I was Ron Paul curious, but once he rolled out the social issues as distinguishing him from McCain, he lost me.  His previous stance was that social issues should not be determined at the federal level - a very libertarian view.  Now he's pandering to the religious right.

I'm registering Democrat so I can vote in the PA primary.  The PA, Texas and Ohio primaries may do more to determine who replaces Bush than the general election.  Please vote.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Paul pandering to the religious right is hysterical.  They farging hate his ass.  They'd campaign for gay marriage before they'd vote for him.

whats it about?

Voting for who you prefer, rather than just voting for who is the presumptive favorite and his chief rival.

I'm guessing the  ::) is because I'm not voting for a democrat?
