Butchers Bill

If its Clinton-Mccain there won't even be a point in voting in November...they are the same person.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

a black man did well in the democratic primary...a creationist who doesnt believe in photosynthesis did well in the republican primary...lol @ republicans

Only one Republican did "well" yesterday (McCain), and all remaining candidates from both sides of the aisle are creationists.  Keep digging.  You're the one who said Obama had no chance.

Huckabee is making headlines for doing as well as he is, but let's be honest, he still didn't do that well. He had a couple of 4th place finishes in a 3-man race...

hes not gonna win but there isnt anyone that would say he didnt do well yesterday

a creationist WON MULTIPLE STATES in our country....I have nothing to contribute
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

at the presidency?...of course he doesnt...did you see what happened yesterday?....the far right has way to much power and votes in to large of numbers...

i still dont think hell even win the nomination but i give him a decent chance now...its just that i cant imagine a brown person winning even a democratic nomination until i see it...its just hard for me to picture

if it happens tho it would be one of the best things any of us have ever seen in our lives...and imagine what it would do to the people who grew up thru the civil rights era and fought for all the things they did....it would literally bring tears to eyes...i mean about 40 years ago many blacks couldnt even vote...40 years!...think about that we arent talking about 3 or 4 hundred years ago

thank god for maryland to maine (and killa cali) or this country would be worthless

'Practicing Christian' doesn't always translate into radical beliefs like creationalism and anti abortion laws. I doubt Obama, Billary or McCain would have an evangelical advisor.

He did. And yes, it is scary. Very scary. But he'll never win the republican nomination and if somehow he did, he would never ever EVER win the general election. So while religious fanaticism is scary and it's clear that this country is full of it, ultimately the minimal success he had yesterday doesn't mean dick.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

so what....theres nothing wrong with being a christian but when you say that the bible is more important than the constitution and thats how the country should be goverened youre taking it way beyond the practice of any religion...

and im sorry anyone who is a creationist can not and should not be taken seriously...i wonder if he believes in gravity...i bet not

Huckabee has VP written all over him.  He's from the south and would bring along the religious freaks on a McCain ticket.  Considering McCain's age, it's not out of the realm of possibility that he'd die in office leaving Huckabee and his fruit loop beliefs in the Oval Office.

If that happened we'd be on the first plane bound for Aukland, New Zealand.

maybe i'm just being naive and going going with my hopes, but i think obama has a very real chance of beating both hillary and the repubs in the general election.

did anyone actually see the numbers yesterday?  the dems came out to the polls yesterday in ridiculous numbers compared to the republicans and i think that will happen in the general election also.

thats his one chance if he were to win the nomination...if in a general election he was able to get blacks and young people to the polls...two groups that historically dont vote...then he would have a shot...its these two groups that would be needed to counteract the evangelicals who vote in droves....but even that has a caveat....they dont much like mccain...so we gotta hope what romey said doesnt come true and mccain doesnt pick huckabee as a running mate...hes definitely going to pick someone very conservative but huckabee would really bring them out
