Now it's looking like neither race will be decided tomorrow.  I'm getting all geared up to vote in the May NC primary.

I love the fact that the right wing freaks in this country are actively campaigning against McCain for no other reason than he isn't conservative enough for them.

Nevermind the fact that he's the only Republican in this cycle that has a snowball's chance of winning the Presidency.  Nope - he's just not conservative enough for them so they're taking their ball and going home.

Idiots.

...and the only reason Romney qualifies is because he's flopped back to that side to appeal to them.  He's actually just as much of a centrist as McCain, but doesn't have the long Senate record to prove it.

Obama's the only one left in the race that isn't picking his positions for political gain.

Rome

Since Ron Paul is out I'm voting for Obama if he gets the nomination.

If not I'm sitting this election out.  A Hillary/McCain choice would be like what we watched yesterday... completely nauseating.

"35 years of public service"

Hillary likes to hide the fact she's as much of a corporate shill as a public servant, if not more.

I have to admit it makes me chuckle when I hear her constantly using that line.

She's been a senator for eight years, that's true, but the rest of the time she was nothing more than a come sock for her husband.

Just over 7, actually.  But holy shtein, has it been that long?

Bah, she hasn't done that since Chelsea was conceived.

My parents went to see Obama Sunday speak in Wilmington.  They really liked him.  They are both repubs, but cant stand any R candidates and wanted to see if Obama could win them over.  He did well.

Obama has Republicans scared shteinless right now.  Personally I think Hillary would get beaten by McCain because as bad as he is for evangelicals, a Hillary presidency would be a catastrophe for them.

Obama, on the other hand...

Well, he has the Republican "machine" scared.  I think most of us actual Republicans are very different.  Most will not vote for him, because his ideas are very far to the left fiscally (ie: raising taxes on everyone making over $75k) or even because of something like race or religion.  However, some of us are willing to see what he can do and how it will work for the country.  Best-case scenario is that he proves our philosophies wrong.  Worst-case scenario is that he bumbles it up and Republicans get another chance, with someone younger than 72.

Don't tell me I'm going to have register as a democrat to vote for Obama in the PA April Primary.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

You don't have to do shtein.  You can sit at home like most of the electorate and then complain later when it doesn't go your way.
