This is the crux of the Libertarian, anti-federal view.  Instead of two countries, it is 50 states.  Each state can make its own laws and adapt to local culture and custom.  You probably wouldn't find prayer in schools in Boston, but you might find it in Arkansas.  Abortion would probably be illegal in Texas, but legal in California.

i was joking....i dont believe in that....i dont believe you should have to pick up and move across country to find a state whose views you agree with....i like where i live and id rather change things by a democratic majority....not a migration of citizens

i happen to live in an extremely liberal state and love it but if i didnt i wouldnt move away from the northeast a place i love just because of the politics...id fight to try and change the place i reside

theres no difference to me with having 50 people in a state legislature make laws for me vs 300 in the federal sector...if you dont like it vote your representatives out...i firmly believe in democracy...i blame the people for guys like ron paul not being able to take office...the apathy in america is sickening and if more people cared then wed have more ron pauls making moral judgements and less of the sheep that currently make up congress

i believe religion should be kept in the home and church....i dont think youre "free" to exercise it in public schools where it can potentially impact my child

You really think your kid will ever show up for class, being that he's half satan?

Be careful.  There's a liquor store across the street and a gun shop next door.

pssst...you don't live in the northeast bro

also...government is good

corporate control of government, not good.  military budget like we have now (and have had for decades, even as it continues to grow), not good.  but the only alternative being proposed by anyone other than Kucinich so far is quacks who who would let Mississippi do whatever it wants (enslave blacks, force teen rape victims to bring their babies to term, force children to accept Jesus, etc.), or quacks who think insurance and speed limits should be removed altogether

So.... you're a Kucinich supporter, then?  Or are you angling towards backing one of the quacks?
