Historically speaking this is not unusual.  Biden hasn't delivered and there's no Trump to run against.

Also - and this is huge - Americans are stupid and racist and always revert back after brief moments of progressive movement.

Democrats are also incredibly bad at winning elections unless they have overwhelming majorities. Their messaging is awful, they pick incredibly awful candidates and they play fair whereas Republicans do everything and and anything to win. 

We see it again and again and nothing changes.

There's no Republican agenda except to win at all costs.  There's no plan, no program, no end game.  They're not interested in governing or helping the poor/middle classes either.  There's nothing but rage and narcissism at the core and they're winning because that's what's at the core of America.   

Privilege and wealth and victimization.  That's the list.

Sprinkle in far left policies and wokeness and the Dems are doomed. Not sure how they don't get average voters don't like far left policies and over sensitivity regarding social issues. That's your (a super progressive) definition of "woke". You're thinking of woke in terms of micro when you need to think of the connotation in macro. The term "woke" gets balled in with crt, AOC, cancel culture, socialism, Antifa, blm, gnd, defund the police etc. and thrown in a box. Doesn't matter these things are separate issues the right has masterfully exploited these issues to their base and the terms spread to the rest of the country. To average Joe voter it's a nuisance.
