Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

well they say you cant truly free yourself of the hell that traps you until you hit rock bottom. maybe this is it for this country and 2018 marks the beginning of the end for this type of mentality.

Is Mr. Trump being filtered to Drumpf?

Firefox and Chrome have extensions that do that.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Diomedes

Don't call him Drumpf.  Childish bullshtein that instantly puts anything you say into the context of a Trump hater, and undercuts any actual decent point you might have to make.

At some point, Republicans are going to wash their hands of Trump and he'll be gone.  What's it going to take?

I actually agree with this wholeheartedly.  It's one thing for us to call him that here in our little clubhouse, but in public, he really should be referred to as President Trump.   He is one of the most disgusting humans ever to have been shot out of a vagina, but the office demands our reverence and respect.

I'll let Dio speak for himself, but like in the military, you salute the rank, not the man or woman wearing the laundry.

Again, he's as vile a human as has ever walked the earth, but the office has to be respected.

Also this...

QuoteIn a press briefing on February 14th, the day after Flynn resigned, Spicer downplayed the importance of Yates's meetings with McGahn, saying, "the acting Attorney General informed the White House counsel that they wanted to give a 'heads-up' to us on some comments." Yates said, about the "heads-up," "I certainly never used that term. And so I'm not sure where that came from."

I asked, "You didn't just text, "Heads-up, your N.S.A. might be a spy"?

No, Yates replied, "Is there an emoji for that?"

I asked her whether she expected the White House to fire Flynn.

Yates said, "We had just gone and told them that the national-security adviser, of all people, was compromised with the Russians and that their Vice-President and others had been lying to the American people about it. We expected them to act." She added, "We expected them to do something immediately."

Legit LOL on the emoji comment.

take the presidency out of it....what dio is saying is dont use childish attacks on anyone if you are trying to get a serious criticism or point across about them as it taints the message....hes not remotely talking about whether the office should be respected or not

SD

It's akin to using phrases like libtard, rethuglican, dumocrats etc.

Rome

They're shortcuts to avoid thinking critically.  And it's more like O'Bummer or when they would cleverly highlight the Hussein part of Obama's name.  The irony, which was lost on them, is it actually means good or handsome, so whenever they used it as a smear, I always got a chuckle out of their embarrassing ignorance.

On a lighter note...

Right now this thread (at least on my browser) is on page 1964.  Made me think about the year 1964
- Barry Goldwater runs for President
- The Phillies have an epic collapse to lose a pennant that was in their hands
- From Russia With Love (2nd James Bond movie) comes out
- The Gulf of Tonkin "attack" embroils the U.S. fully in the Vietnam War.
- The Russians shoot down an American reconnaissance plane in East Berlin.

Signs?
