Sweet.  So now if Trump wants to bomb Isis in Syria he's got no systematic way to avoid killing Russians or accidentally getting into direct combat with Russians.  Does that mean he stops bombing ISIS?  What good does it do us to raise military stakes with Russia?

Yes, if Hillary had run on a campaign of non-interventionism then used a chemical attack to hypocritically bypass congress and rush to a military response I absolutely would have blown her up. But while we're speaking in hypotheticals, what are the chances that countries would feel emboldened to test Hillary the way they're emboldened to test Trump? She has a history as a military hawk, it was one of the biggest critiques used against her by the left as well as by Trump supporters. "She'll get us into another war!" was a thing people said. Do you think the fact that we have an unqualified doddering old racist in office maybe gave Assad the notion that he could test the limits a little? Beyond that, do you think she ever would have unilaterally decided to bomb Syria without getting congressional approval?

You can't guess at what would happen if literally everything were different, but if the places were reversed, yes, I would be opposed to her going about things the way Trump goes about things.
