The Senate's second-ranking Republican and other GOP senators are calling for an investigation into connections between President Donald Trump and Russia, and want former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn to testify.
Sen. John Cornyn told reporters Tuesday that the Senate standing committees with oversight of intelligence need to investigate Flynn. Sen. Roy Blunt, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, also told KTRS radio he wanted to speak with Flynn.

The Office of Government Ethics suggests the White House should take disciplinary action against Kellyanne Conway, a top adviser to President Trump, for endorsing Ivanka Trump's products in a TV interview.
Walter Shaub, the director of the ethics office, wrote in a letter that there is "strong reason to believe" Conway violated ethics standards and that disciplinary action is warranted. He likened what Conway did to appearing in a TV commercial.

Moscow has stationed a cruise missile in an apparent treaty violation, a US senior military official says.

It's the latest in a string of Russian provocations in the early days of the Trump administration, which has called for warmer relations with the Kremlin.

The move of the cruise missile seems to run counter to the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, the official said. The New York Times first reported its deployment.

"The Russian Federation remains in violation of its INF Treaty obligations not to possess, produce or flight-test a ground-launched cruise missile with a range capability of 500 to 5,500 kilometers, or to possess or produce launchers of such missiles," acting spokesman Mark Toner said in a statement issued Tuesday.
