Matt Taibbi had an amazing piece in Rolling Stone about that jackass.  I swear, if the Democrats had simply managed to find a bland, middle of the road, centrist candidate (like Tim Kaine, for instance) they'd be leading this race by 20 points.  Sure, he doesn't move the needle but he wouldn't have to running against a colossal dick like Trump.  He'd probably sweep 40 out of 50 states, actually.

How do you all feel about this bill to allow U.S. citizens to sue Saudi Arabia for 9/11 complicity, etc?  Obama gonna veto.

I haven't looked into it, but just on the surface, I see a bill that would open up the floodgates for other countries families with deceased from 'collateral damage' to sue the US.

Unless there's some sort of international court that I'm unaware of, private citizens suing another country/govt is about as useful as monopoly money. What judicial system would this be tried in?  Who would actually hold the country accountable?  What's the statue of limitations?  Can the natives sue England and other euro countries that were complicit in native american genocide?
